Is this the El Dorado Hills Library 3D Print Lab?
No. The library is a self-serve print lab. It's a great service that is offered by the library but it assumes some knowledge of 3D design and printing. Ours is a taught 6-week class: design in Tinkercad, print here, take projects home.
Do you take kids from Folsom?
Yes. The lab is in El Dorado Hills, about 15 minutes from Folsom / Broadstone.
Is this a coding class?
No. Kids learn CAD in Tinkercad and 3D printing, not Scratch/Python.
Do kids take the prints home?
Yes, every project.
Do they need software at home?
Tinkercad runs in the browser. We'll tell you what they need on the first day.
